Workforce Plan Development

The Plan describes the local workforce development system for our 9-county area – including a description of how the system will coordinate with regional economic development activities, One-Stop Partners, and Oklahoma’s Unified State Plan.

The 4-Year Plan was developed with input from board members, elected officials, American Job Center partners, and the public.

Central Oklahoma’s American Job Center Partners

American Job Center partners from more than two dozen agencies and programs participated in the development of the plan. Partners include: Oklahoma Department of Career and Technical Education, Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services, Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, Native American WIOA programs, Senior Community Service Employment programs, community action agencies, and more.

The Plan will go into effect on July 1, 2017.
